The plot of the film is as follows: Mia, a popular social media influencer, known for her makeup videos for cosmetic brands, leaves a party that was going to be broadcast live, to take care of her sister’s dog. A murderer whose predilection is to kill dogs begins to harass her and threaten to kill her friends and her sister’s dog.
Guided solely by the description of the plot and the images in the trailer, Shook looks like a horror movie like any other: the house is practically dark, the anonymous threats are terrifying, the blood spurts and again and again the camera I focused on Mia’s terrified face.
